Art Workshops and Courses

Wanting to start a new creative hobby but finding it hard to know where to begin? If the last time you tried painting or drawing was at school and you enjoyed it then, why not give it a go? I offer daytime/evening group workshops or 4/6 week courses, for up to 6 people or one to one at my home in Corfe Mullen, Wimborne. Evening group sessions start from £25 per person for at least 2 hours from 7.00pm (arrive from 6.45pm). I provide all the materials (unless stated otherwise) & soft drinks. Generally I hold them on Monday evenings but alternative evenings and daytime are available. I require a minimum of 3 people for a group workshop or course to run. Gift vouchers are available as forms of payment.

I will guide you step by step to produce a finished drawing or painting to take home with you.

Courses

You will cover the above mediums in more depth over a 4 or 6 week period, using different supports and techniques to find your own favourite working style. The courses start from £100 depending on materials needed.

A deposit of £30 is payable on booking to secure your place. The balance is payable the week prior to the course start date by bank transfer unless you prefer to pay by cash or have been bought some gift vouchers.

Special Occasion Workshops

You may wonder how I started doing art workshops? It was a dear friend who asked me if I would like to take an evening art lesson for her and her friends to celebrate her Birthday and that was 10 years ago now! So if you have a Birthday coming up and want to experience something different with your closest friends, then I will provide the Prosecco/Beer or tipple of your choice, while you do the Painting during a fun workshop tailored to suit your interests (agreed in advance). It could involve painting on canvas, paper, wood, pebbles or slate, using charcoal, graphite, watercolour, pastels, acrylics or inks.

The cost is £30 per person which includes ‘at least’ one glass….so make sure your taxi’s or lifts are organised beforehand to take you and your masterpieces home with you!
