Jacqueline Speck an Artist from Dorset

Welcome to my Website…

Jacqueline Speck

I discovered my love for art at a very early age,  continuing it to GCSE ‘O’ and ‘A’ level and then took an Art Foundation Course at Shelley Park, Boscombe.

After a long break, my husband, Roger, encouraged me to take it up again and I have never looked back. I enjoy practicing a variety of mediums including watercolour, the most challenging medium for me.

My paintings are continually inspired by wildlife, nature and the surrounding, diverse landscape and Jurassic coastline. I was a member of Marwell International Wildlife Art Society exhibiting annually at Marwell Zoo which no longer exists but currently  I am a member of Ringwood and Broadstone Art Societies with whom I exhibit.

Some of my paintings have won awards in magazines and art society exhibitions including ‘A Chance Encounter’, ‘Durdle Door’, ‘Undercover’, ‘Waiting’, ‘Jurrassic Coast’,  ‘Eagle Owl’ and most recently ‘Young Lion Study’.

I reproduce some paintings into fine art digital prints using archival quality fine art paper and pigmented inks, guaranteed not to fade. The mount and backing material are acid free to ensure no long term deterioration of the print. They are primarily reproduced in sizes to fit standard frames to make things easier for the buyer.

Greetings cards are also produced which can be purchased at The Tourist Information Centre in Wimborne,  Corfe Mullen Post Office, Longhorns Farm or directly with me, please use the contact form.

I work on commissions including pet portraits for that very special gift or timeless memory. Please visit my ‘Pet Portrait’ gallery to find out more information on this personal service.

This website was produced with the help of my son so I hope you enjoy looking through it. Please feel free to contact me using the contact form if you would like any further information.

Thank you for visiting!
